Ruthie was one of my most favorite cousins. She was warm, funny, and eternally good natured. She will be missed.
SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. A WONDERFUL PERSON ACCORDING TO MANY, INCLUDING MY OWN MOTHER. HAD MANY A GOOD TIME WITH JEFF AND JEANNIE AT THE 8TH INNING. BLESS YOU ALL.
Ruthie was a great cousin and neighbor; she was always smiling and pleasant, even last week when we stopped by to visit. My sincere condolences to all of the family – she was the matriarch of a wonderful family, and will definitely be missed!
Ruthie was my dear cousin. Although I left St Louis many years ago, I always tried to get together with her when I visited. She was a warm and wonderful person. I will miss her. Condolences to her children on losing their mother.
I always enjoyed visiting Ruthie. Her big smile brightened the room and she happily shared stories about her large family. My sympathy to all of you at this sad time. She will be missed.
So sorry to hear of your loss.
Sue and Barb, we are sorry to hear about your mom’s passing. We send our condolences.
My heart is completely broken. My precious Aunt Ruth has always been my favorite Aunt on the Zelle side. I will never forget the time when I was a little bitty kid at Nana and Grandpa’s house and my brother pushed me off that brick wall. I hit my head and skinned my knee. Suddenly, I looked up and there was my Aunt Ruth to my rescue. She scooped me up and made sure I wasn’t hurt. Apparently my feelings were, but I escaped physical harm.
I’ll never forget that day. And I’m so sorry I never got a chance to tell her how much that meant to me.
Aunt Ruthie, you are my hero!
RIP and I will see when my time comes too
