Beloved husband of the late Susie J. Wray (nee Fitzgerald). Our dearest father, step-father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Funeral at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd. 63123 on Monday, March 29 at 10:30 am. Interment at J.B. National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to Wounded Warriors appreciated. Visitation Sunday 3-8 pm.

I will truly miss Uncle George. We talked almost everyday. He was a kind, considerate and very good man. He was all about family and friends.

We will truly miss George who was a great stepfather and a very good man. He was always there for us. I enjoyed seeing and speaking with him over the years and will miss the times we had.

Worked with George for many years. Have kept in touch throughout his retirementy and he never changed at all.. seriously. As if it was yesterday. Forever threatened to send a tow truck to pick me up on snowy days to go to AAA!..lol.. Remembered every name and face he’d ever met, even 40 years later. Will so miss our calls even though I could not remember half of what he did…! RIP Georgie! I will truly truly miss you!
I knew George through Margaret (Mickey) Wilson. We all three shared a burger lunch in his home not long ago. I referred to George as Uncle George. He was an avid reader and shared a couple of his many books with me. He was very quick witted and never at a loss for words. Have a blessed trip home Uncle George.
I lived across the street from George and Susie on Bancroft. Played many games of cards with them. I called George yearly in January. Lost touch in 2020. Went to look up his number and came across the obituary. Very sorry to hear this news. George was always kind to me even though I was 1/2 his age.
