Mr. Bill was an avid supporter of the McKinley Goldbugs, SLU Billikens and Soulard Restoration Group. He loved participating in sports at St. Catherine Laboure as a coach, referee and umpire.
He had a long career in electrical contracting. Upon retirement, Bill joined his wife in the real estate industry.
Mr. Bill was past Commander and Chaplin of American Legion BKZ Post 422, and proud Legionnaire of the Year in 2016. He was an Honor Flight recipient in 2018.
You could always count on Mr. Bill to put a smile on your face, join you at a buffet, or turn a stranger into a friend.
Visitation at Kutis Funeral Home – Affton, 10151 Gravois Road, on Thursday, July 15, 4-8 pm.
Mass at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1408 S 10th St, St. Louis, MO 63104, Friday, July 16, 10 am. Interment will be held in private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Legion BKZ Post 422 – 2601 S 11th St, St. Louis, MO 63118 (care of Christopher Schwarz) or St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church – 1408 S 10th St, St. Louis, MO 63104.

Mr. Bill was a joy who could light up a room just be entering the door. He never failed to notice and appreciate all the Legion volunteers at the many fundraising events he enthusiastically supported. Lenten Fish Fry’s at the Legion were always a happier event when Mr. Bill was in the room.

I just found out about Bill’s passing! I am so, so sorry for the loss of your beloved husband and partner in crime! You two were always so full of love and laughter! I met Bill st Glasco Electric in 1973, my very first electrical job! Always was such a great influence and positive force at the Big G!! I remember all the couples parties and all the fun!!
