Beloved husband of Jeanne Thierry (nee Draiemann); loving father of Raymond (Mary Jo) Thierry, Michele (David) Podgornik and Ryan (Ashley) Thierry; adoring grandfather of Lauren, Colin, Caitlin, Alyssa, Dylan and Jack; dear brother of Joseph (Patricia) Thierry and the late Henry Thierry Jr. and William Thierry. Our dearest brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Rd. 63123 on Thursday, April 1, 2021 from 12 noon until funeral service time at 2:00 pm. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to Alzheimer Association appreciated.
Thank you for being the big brother I never had. You are my favorite brother-in-law. Find your peace now until we meet again.

I was very sorry to read in this morning’s paper about Ray’s passing.
You may not remember me but I worked with Ray at my Uncle Fred’s store when I was in high school and college.
I always enjoyed working with Ray as he was always positive and upbeat and made the work time pass quickly. It’s funny but to this day I can still recall some of the things he would say as we stocked shelves.
I know he was very proud of his family and always looked forwarded to being with all of you as much as he could.

Was very so very sorry to see that Ray had passed. He was one of our patients. Always enjoyed seeing Ray when he came in to see the doctor. I was one of the nurses in the office. You are in my prayers. Jan Lutke
Jeanne & Family, I am truly sorry to have learned of your loss of Ray. I don’t believe we have never met but I want you to know that it was my pleasure to have grown up with Ray being in the same class at Mark Twain elementary, Brentwood Jr. High, & High school. I had not seen Ray except, perhaps, at one of our early class reunions but he has always been in my memory as a person with a very positive, can do & “go getter” attitude and was a very athletic individual. I will never – ever – forget the time in grade school when Ray had broken the femur in his left leg & was in a plaster cast extending from his hip to ankle requiring him to need crutches to get around. But that DID NOT STOP HIM from playing “kickball” with the rest of us at recess on Mark Twain’s paved playground!! He was awesome as he did as well as anyone on two good legs, kicking the ball as far as anyone & running around the bases on crutches!! He will be greatly missed but always remain in our memories for the good times. Please accept my deepest Condolences in Sympathy and Friendship.

I regret that I am unable to attend the funeral services for Ray. You have my condolences and I pray that his loss will only strengthen the cherished memories of his life.
