Snider, Mary L., 86, of Oakville, MO passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022. at Mercy South Hospital. She was born June 12, 1936, in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of the late Michael and Marie (Duffin) Anvender of Lemay, MO.

She was preceded in death by her sister Joan Abarcar (Anvender), sister-in-law Jane Anvender (nee Fischer) and great-granddaughter Lily Jane Snider.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert Snider, her children Mark (Mary) Snider, Charlet Snider, Cheryl (Phil) Carlson, Linda (Joseph) Schillinger and Kaye Maxey. She was a beloved grandmother to six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by her brother, John Anvender and her sister Carol (Dale) Garcia.

Her greatest happiness was time spent with her family and she, along with her husband, was a member of The Missouri Botanical Gardens and an officer of the local chapter of The National Lily Society.

Services: A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 610 W. Ripa Ave, St. Louis, MO on Wednesday, August 17, at 10 a.m. Inurnment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
