“Joe Jr.,” as many friends and family called him, was a genuinely nice fellow to all he knew. Like clock work, he always called most family members and friends on their actual birthdays each year, taking deserved pride that he could remember all their details. He thoroughly enjoyed reconnecting with them in this fashion and wishing them a “Happy Birthday.” It was his way of spreading a little joy around to others … his signature act of kindness. May he now Rest in Peace.
