Riddle, Linda Ann (nee Kramer) passed away on February 4, 2022.
Loving mother of Jennifer (Randy) Showalter; cherished grandmother of Jordyn and Morgan Showalter; dear daughter of Irene and the late William Kramer; dear sister of Kevin (Jamie), Timothy (Linda) and John (Lisa) Kramer; our dear aunt, cousin and friend.
Service: Memorial visitation at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Saturday, February 26, from 10:00 am until time of memorial service at 1:00 pm. Service concludes at the funeral home. Memorials to the Backstoppers, appreciated.
You were kind and generous person, always there for anyone who needed an ear to listen. I’ll miss our long talks on the phone and your laughter.

To Linda’s family,
Linda and I were neighbors, just two doors down the hall at our condo. Linda kept to herself, so I had lived in the building two years before we met. During the past few years, we became friends. We didn’t go shopping or to the movies or out to lunch. We had long conversations. When I knocked on her door or we talked on the phone, we talked for an hour, at least. Linda was a great conversationalist. I got to learn quite a bit about her. She really loved her family. She never said that straight out, but I could hear it in every word she said about them. Always positive and with pride. Linda was extremely intelligent and could discuss almost any topic. We occasionally debated some concept. Linda was intelligent and well-spoken. Truth be told she won those debates, but I never admitted that. And I never left angry. We talked on a range of topics and laughed at each other’s stories and jokes. I will miss our conversations and I will miss Linda.

I’ve known Linda for 40 years. She was my sister in law and was always kind and thoughtful. She had a big heart and loved her family. She was very intelligent and could talk about anything. She had a great laugh and was so funny. I’ll miss our long talks and sharing stories. I’m grateful she was apart of our life. I loved her and will miss her dearly.

As I sit here trying to think of what to say about Linda (Mom) all I can say is that she had the biggest heart! From the 1st day I met her she treated me as her son, and after 16+ years of being around I couldn’t be more happy to be that to her. I know I have my own mother, but what’s better than one, but two! She was the most kind, thoughtful and giving woman anyone could ask for. She battled cancer and won and has been battling congestive heart failure for 10+ years and never complained one time. Always happy and positive. She had quite the brain on her with a double masters and had straight A’s doing it. I will miss our time on the phone and in person visits. Her advice she would give me has made me a better man, father and husband to her daughter and grandchildren. I will miss her voice and her laugh dearly. Mom as we come to a close with you here, we know that you are needed somewhere much greater than here, remember I took all that you preached to me in and I will use it all to good use. I will never forget you and I will always remind your grandchildren of you and come and visit often. You are leaving these three ladies in good hands and I won’t let you down! I will love you always and forever, love your son Randy
