Christopher Daniel Rhoten, life-long resident of the St. Louis Metropolitan area, died unexpectedly on August 19, 2021 at the age of 35 at his home in Dupo, Illinois.

Christopher is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Walter and Marjorie Rhoten; his maternal grandfather, Quentin Lantz; and his aunt, Elizabeth (Betsy) Barnes.

Christopher is survived by his wife, Sarah Rhoten (née Gregory); his children, Victoria Rose and Daniel Glenn Rhoten; his parents, Daniel and Sonya Rhoten; his sisters, Alissa Rhoten and Rebecca (Andrew) Batchelor; his nephew, Adrian Batchelor; his maternal grandmother, Ramona Lantz; his uncle and aunt, Phillip and Sandra Hodges, and numerous other cousins, family, and friends.

Christopher worked many years in the restaurant industry as a cook, and he was a hard-working and loyal employee. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He enjoyed fishing, grilling, watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball, and spending time with his family and friends. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He had a warm and generous heart and he never met a stranger.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2021 from 4:00-8:00 pm. Funeral service will follow on Wednesday, August 25 at 11:00 am. All services will take place at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63129.
