Dearest father of Alice (Kevin Pollo) Pfeiffer, Matthew Pfeiffer and Mark Pfeiffer; loving Grandpa/ Pa Pa of Abigail, Samuel, Diego, Isabella, Catalina, Matthew and Gillian; dear brother of Gail (Ned) Ellet and the late Kaye (Bill) Turnbough; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

Services: Funeral at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Thursday, January 19, at 12 p.m. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorials to Backstoppers appreciated. Visitation Wednesday 4 – 7 p.m.
Marvin was such a phenomenal neighbor! Always ready to help anyone with anything, and especially ready to take the kids on lawnmower rides. We enjoyed so many years of living up the street from him and that beautiful and amazing Laura. Rest In Peace dear neighbor and friend.

My father was very fond of yours. They met in scouts as Mark was in our troop. Your dad took kindly to my dad and helped him tinker on small engine equipment and always had a fix to things he broke. Your family was always one of the families that stepped in and helped at scout functions. Thank you for the memories of your dads kindness and so sorry for your family’s loss.

Marv was a man of deep sincerity, utter unflappability and a car trunk that truly shamed Felix the cat’s bag of tricks. I believe he could have fixed 3 Mile Island if he had been close.
