Dear papou of Tristen and Arianna. Dear brother of George Papagianis and the late Violette (surviving Ordie) King. Our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.
Mr. Papagianis was born in Greece and immigrated to the US in 1956 and later became a naturalized citizen. A member of Sopiotiko, installed as a cantor at St. Nicholas Greek Church, member and past president of Hellenic-Amarican Progressive League and an avid deer hunter and outdoorsman.
SERVICES: Funeral from Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Road on Thursday, February 9, 9:00 a.m. to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church for 10:00 a.m. service. Interment St. Matthew Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Sopiotiko Club, St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church or Assumption Greek Orthodox Church appreciated. Visitation Wednesday 4 – 8 p.m. Trisaghion service Wednesday 7:00 p.m.

I met Pete a couple weeks ago at Delmar Gardens Meramac Valley when I was in skilled rehab. I helped feed him a few times and it brought a big smile to his face and mine. I was able to say goodbye to him a few days before he died and he still had that big smile. He told me about owning a steak house and how proud he was of it. My condolences to his family.
