John K O’Brien, age 91, of St Louis, MO, passed from this life on April 16, 2022.Born to the late James and Bridget O’Brien, John was preceded in death by his brothers Patrick, James, Christopher, and Gerald, sister Mary Johnson, son-in-law Paul A Ayres, and one great grandson John David Ayres. Here to carry on his memory are his beloved wife of nearly 72 years Ethel Kinworthy O’Brien, his children Jim (Jackie) O’Brien, Kathy (John) LoBello, Sharon Ayres, Peggy (Rico) Lange, Eileen (Bob) Kehm, Christine (Carl) Faulkner, and 17 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. John was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved family gatherings and continually bragged about his kids. He was a proud Irishman that had shamrocks sprinkled all over his home and clothing. He loved Irish music, and of course he enjoyed the Dogtown St, Patrick’s Day parade. He will be dearly missed and left behind countless memories that his family will always cherish. SERVICES: Visitation at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 796 Buckley Rd. 63125, on Friday, April 22 from 10 am until funeral Mass at 11 am Interment Calvary Cemetery.
