Robert “Bob” R. Nathe, Sr, 95, passed into rest on Monday, November 23, 2020. Beloved husband of Eileen T. Nathe (nee Winkler); dear father of Teri (Keith) Gansner, David (Teresa) Nathe, Mary K. Covert, Robert (Tina) Nathe, Jr. and Ann (Bill) Chase; dear grandfather of Bryan (Cheryl) Gansner, Brice (Lisa) Gansner, Mary (John) Cook, Nick Coleman, Chris (Ashley) Coleman, and Madeline Nathe; dear great-grandfather of Kadin, Ella-Grace, Lexi, Brady, Gabriel, Blayne, Emery, Amelia, Finley and Rowan; our dear brother-in-law, uncle and friend. He was predeceased by his parents Innocent and Adeline Nathe, brothers Art (Loretta) Nathe and Raymond (Margaret) Nathe. Surviving him is his sister Barbara (Harold) Meier.
Born and raised in Richmond Heights, he grew up in and went to the same church and school that he sent his children to. He served his country in WWII and married his wife in 1952. He never had a need for things or adventures, but he worked hard, raised a family and took care of his own. He could fix and build anything. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He was a man of faith, a man of community and a servant to all; dedicating his time helping his church and neighbors. He was a good man who built a beautiful life and his memory will be cherished for generations to come.
Funeral from Little Flower Church, 1275 Boland Place, Monday, November 30. Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. with a private burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Uncle Bob was always such a sweet and gentle man. We loved talking to him about gardening. He left his mark on this world and will be missed.
