Moore, Thomas Lee, passed away on February 13, 2022.
Beloved husband of Judy A. Moore (nee Tackett); loving father of Christopher (Christina) Moore and Stephannie (Terry) Nathan; cherished grandfather of Eden and Tristan Moore; dear brother of Roger (Donna) Moore, Annette (Ben) Latham and Roberta Blackmer , and 5 late brothers and sisters.
Mr. Moore was a PROUD Vietnam Veteran serving in the U.S. Army, and was a recipient of the Purple Heart.
Services: Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Tuesday, February 22, 1:00 pm. Interment with honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The VVA Chapter 1028, 6026 Arthur Ave, St. Louis, MO 63139. Visitation Monday 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
Sugar Lips was my friend for almost 30 years. He was the one that got Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1028 started. Its still going strong with almost 200 members.
Tom was a veteran. He wore the uniform. He did his duty. He sacrificed his youth and endured the separation from loved ones. He served his country with selfless devotion. Now his battles are over. He is gone but not forgotten; for he will always have the undying gratitude of those he served, and the respect of those who served with him. May he rest in eternal peace.
Heeeeeeey, Papa! You were an AMAZING War Hero! I miss you like crazy and been listening of videos of you talking. I miss hearing you and speaking to you multiple times a day~ You’ll forever be on my mind and in my heart! Can’t wait to get my tattoos for you papa (:
