To all who lived Bernie and cherished her contribution to IPM, my deepest sympathy as you grieve her passing from this world into the light. I will always cherish Bernies welcoming smile and practical, no nonsense approach to life. I regret to not be able to attend her memorial as I will be out of town for my nieces wedding.
Roy,
Please accept my condolences for the loss of your beloved Bernie. I know how much you depended on her.
It’s really tough to lose a spouse…I lost my wife 9 years ago, just months before our 49th anniversary. It leaves a hole in your heart that initially seems too large to ever heal, but it does get better with time. But you’ve been through this before, so you know how the grieving process progresses.
With the Covid-19 infections resurging due to the Delta strain, I’m reluctant to attend indoor gatherings of folks that I’ve not met before. I have contacted the American Legion Post 179 members who knew Bernie about her death and funeral arrangements.
