Not a day that passes will I not miss you. Love does not die, it lives on forever in my heart for you. You brought such joy and wonderful times, I will forever cherish your memory.
I met Dave at Southwestern Bell and He was my Gaudian on Honor Flight to D.C. The work memories and Honor Flight will be long lasting memories. Thanks Dave.t
I met Dave and the Lenharths when I moved to Affton in 1963. We went to high school together and have remained friends for the last 59 years. He was the best man at both of my weddings and was a best friend through thick and thin. I regret that I never got to go fishing with him. He loved “catch and release”. He was a principled man who always tried to do the right thing. His passing will leave a hole in my life bigger than his six foot two and his big but often sore feet.
Dave was a kind, considerate, personable, talented, great man. He was someone to be proud of, and a hard worker for many years for AT&T, from where he retired. He belonged to the Salvation Army church and never missed church when possible. He belonged to a fishing bass club for many years and loved fishing very much, going to Canada with his best friend for years to fish for a week or more. He enjoyed his friends from AT&T and his church and his bass club and his Bible Study he attended weekly for many years. He loved his family and grandkids so much and was so proud of them. You never heard him say a bad word about anyone. Here in Illinois, we enjoyed Dave for 7 plus years and had lots of wonderful times with him. He was so loved by all of us, myself, my son, my extended family. He is so missed and always will be.
