Lang, James “Jim” M. passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022. Beloved husband of Bonny Lang (nee Wilhite) for 65 years; dearest father of Steve (Kathryn) Lang; dear grandfather of Shelly Smith, Kelly Welch, Andrew (Julia), Adam (Erin), and Hannah Lang; great-grandfather of 8; dear brother of the late Patricia Bright; dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend of many.
Jim retired from Lever Brothers after 25 years of employment, for 17 years during retirement he enjoyed volunteering and driving for Feed My People. Jim’s passions were is grandchildren, fishing and the St. Louis Cardinals.
Services: Visitation at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 4045 Holly Hills, St. Louis, MO, Saturday November 5, 9:30 a.m. until Memorial Service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made at www.feed-my-people.org

This is a very painful and difficult loss. It is only brightened by my gratitude for having such a warm hearted, generous, fun-loving and hilarious role model for a Grandfather. Of the many things he taught me to tie my shoes, ride a bike, win at Monopoly, catch the BIG fish, respect Grandma, enjoy nature and all of the creatures and root for the Cardinals. I hope he has birds to feed in Heaven and baseball is a thing.
Sad to lose him but so fourtunate to have had him. XOXO

My sincere condolences to Bonny and the whole family. Jim was a good neighbor and a husband and father who will be sorely missed. He always had a wave to passersby!
We have such wonderful memories of Uncle Jim. He always made us smile with his quick wit and jovial personality. And looking forward to his annual homemade Christmas ornaments were a cherished tradition!
