Beverly Joan Kunzi, 78, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 in Southlake, Texas.
Burial service will be held on Monday, September 20th at 10:00a.m. at St. Paul Churchyard located at 7600 S Rock Hill Rd, St. Louis, MO 63123. Arrangements are by Kutis Affton Funeral Home.
Beverly was born in St. Louis, MO to Julius and Opal Kunzi on May 20, 1943. She recently retired after 50 years as a flight attendant for Pan American and United Airlines. Beverly treasured her family, horses and pets. She was a free spirited, adventuresome and artistic person with lots of wisdom to share. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
Beverly was preceded in death by her father, Julius; mother, Opal; her sisters, Debbie Carol Hopp, Renee Stephens, Linda Kunzi, Debbie Kunzi; her brother, Robert Kunzi; and her nephew, Jeffrey Kunzi.
Beverly is survived by her nieces Terri Howard, Tracy Long, Tammy Tiffany and Kimberly Forrester.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you send donations in honor of Beverly to a charity of your choice.

We have only known Beverly for a few years when she found it difficult to take care of her horses. We were privileged to be chosen by her to provide care for her treasured ponies.
Who was to know that upon each visit Beverly would show unique views and stances on just about everything. Not many people can be called a ‘hoot’. But, she could.
I laughed myself silly when she said when she was little her father’s favorite past time was watching his girls work!
We will miss her quirkiness, her insights and her joy for life.

Beverly’s love for her family and horses, her eagerness to help others, and her energetic independence brought joy to many. Her spirit will always live in the hearts of all who knew her. Peace and blessings to her nieces and family!

I’m so Blessed to have been able to come visit with you in Texas it wasn’t the way I wanted it to be but that’s OK I was able to tell you have much I love you and to hear you say it back meant the world to me and the thumbs up to.You alway did that I think it was you trade mark and everyone knew it.Enjoy that beautiful place called Heaven you are out of pain now and can be with your whole family now.Love you Sweetheart and my sunshine you will be greatly missed by all who loved you so much.
I’ll always remember Beverly’s independent streak and love for her horses. During the Texas Deep Freeze of 2021 I found Beverly hauling water and blankets out to her “boys” in the pitch dark across a frozen slippery paddock. I’ll miss her kind and gentle spirit working across the fence line. May you Rest in Peace in Heaven Beverly.

6-29-2022I just saw a notice in our Pan American World Wings newsletter that Beverly passed with an address in St. Louis, MO.
I remember flying and working with Beverly who always looked calm when it got busy and hectic with a full load. I was always fascinated how she kept her curly hair looking neat during our long hall flights. Sometimes it is hard o be pleasant working with lots of different personalities but Beverly could when the work got busy/hectic but Beverly always looked calm.
