Passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021 at the age of 15. Loving son of Harry and Vicki Keifer Jr.; brother of Josh Keifer; dear grandson of Harry and Gloria Keifer and Margaret and Robert Harmon (the late Donald Mahacek); dear great-nephew of Dolores Chitwood, Suzannne Pfeifer, John (Berenice) Mahacek, Art (Rose) Mahacek, the late Raymond (Jeanette) Mahacek, Bernard Mahacek and Betty (Paul) Henzler; dear nephew of Michael Keifer, John (Andrea) Mahacek, Sandy (Jim) Wulsch and Paul (Angie) Mahacek; cousin of Lorelei Keifer, Justin Wulsch, Sydney Mahacek, Nick Wulsch, Paul Mahacek, Natalie Mahacek, Anna Wulsch, Ella Mahacek, Charlie Mahacek and Lilah Keifer.
Jake was a kind, free spirited teenager who loved life to the fullest. Jake could make everyone happy!
There was never a dull moment with Jake with a revolving door of kids coming in and out. He loved spending time with his friends, attending all sports, listening to all the latest music and being the life of the party.
Jake had no issue making friends with people of all ages and had a positive impact on everyone he talked to.
Jake loved lake life and water sports, water skiing and surfing were his favorites and he was very talented at both.
We were blessed to call him our son and Josh thought he was the best brother imaginable.
Services: Memorial visitation Saturday, November 27, 2021, 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois.

From what I remember, Jake was a very joking and playful young guy, lots of energy. He loved his brother, Lorelei his cousin, and his grandparents dearly. I do think he was good at making everyone feel included, in the few times I visited with him and Lorelei and his brother Josh; he didn’t want anyone to be left out, so I can see how he had so many friends.
It’s tragic that this happened, and he was too young to pass away, but I do believe he experienced such love from his family and his friends in his life and must have had a lot of fun times. I’m sorry to the family and friends, and I hope they know they can reach out if they need any support during this time.
Dear Vicki, Harry & Josh. Praying for all of you as well as all those who are mourning the loss of Jake. May God somehow ease your broken hearts. So sorry that his life was cut so short. And he was helping his grandmother greet the people as they came in. He was such
a nice young man. I know he is being received in Heaven with open arms. His entire

He was quite the riot as a little guy and always a joy to be around I can see see him on his tiny little 4 wheeler smiling ear to ear and seeing what a handsome young man he had grown into and reading and hearing all the happy memories and wonderful things about him he lived his life to the fullest and enjoyed every second of it and what a blessing he was to everyone around him.
