Sky James was a loving son, father, grandson, cousin, and friend. He left this world suddenly on June 27, 2021 at age 24.
Sky was born to Traci James and Jason Gaither on January 14, 1997 in St. Louis Missouri, where he lived his entire life. He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandmother Alice Shepherd, paternal grandfather Leonard Gaither, maternal great grandparents Betty Rook and Albert James, and other missed and loved family members.
Sky is survived by his parents, his baby momma Madilyn Shanz, beloved daughter Marissa James, maternal grandparents Kenny & Doreen James and paternal grandparent Sherri Gaither.
Sky is dearly loved by his immediate family Uncles: James, Danny, and Chris and Aunts: Angie, Tanya, and Dawn, and cousins James Jr, Autumn, Meghan, Ashleigh, Danny, Elizabeth, Ricky, and Mariah.
Sky is also loved by many other aunts, uncles, and cousins, Melissa, Eddy, Kim, Amanda, Michelle, Matt, Amy, Christopher, Alice, DJ, Savannah, Amanda, Carrie, Monica, Pearl, and so many more.
Services will be held on July 3, 2021 Visitation at the Kutis Funeral Home on 5255 Lemay Ferry Road from 2 p.m. until time of service 3 p.m. with services concluding at KUTIS.
