We were immensely and incredibly blessed to have this wonderful and amazing woman in our lives. She was an inspiring soul. She was a loving, compassionate and understanding person of strength and deep faith.
Lorraine grew up on 2nd street in Downtown Saint Louis. She was a proud graduate of Rosati-Kain High School. She met the love of her life, Anthony Jaboor, through his sister and her best friend, Theresa Jaboor. Anthony and Lorraine were married at St. Mary’s of Victories Catholic Church. Their loving marriage lasted for over 50 years and produced a family of five children, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Lorraine was considered by many as a second mother or Nana. Anyone who entered her home was treated as one of her own. All of her family and friends would look forward to her delicious Italian and Lebanese cooking. No one would ever leave her home without a full stomach. She was always willing to listen and have positive advice for anyone who asked. Known for answering the phone with a “oh hello dear!” as if each call was the most surprising and exciting thing of her day. Rest peacefully sweet Lorraine. Your lessons of love will live on through generations to come. You are missed dearly but we are thankful for the hope of seeing you again one day in God’s perfect time.

Mike and Mary it’s so tough losing our mammas. She is your eternal guardian angel watching over the whole beautiful family she made. Love to you all and you are in our thoughts and prayers❤️❤️❤️

Love & hugs, Mike & Maxine Flaherty
What an amazing Legacy. Tonight when you look up, don’t think of them as stars, think of them as porch lights welcoming our loved ones home safely. I have no doubt there were many welcoming your Momma, home at last.
My dear family, please accept my deepest condolences for your great loss. Aunt Chickie was a one of a kind. Always smiling and offering her love to all of us, always. I remember so many good times, when we were younger, at the house, singing and telling stories as we all sat around and laughed. Such good times and wonderful memories. Now the clan is back together in Heaven and I can only imagine the joy and laughter they are having together as they usher Aunt Chickie in through those pearly gates. May Almighty God bestow His Comfort and Peace upon all of you as we rejoice in her new everlasting life. We love you and are here for you in any way you may need.
Nothing melts my heart quicker than hearing about a long lasting marriage. And Lorraine enjoyed over 50 years! How beautiful that was to read. I never had the pleasure of meeting her, but I’m convinced she’s one of the most loving women God ever created. I’ve been praying for my friend Steven and his family and everyone else touched by this tremendous loss.
Aunt Chickie and Uncle Tony were truly loved and will be missed by those of us left behind. They both ALWAYS had plenty of hugs and kisses for me. May their love and joy flow down from heaven upon us all. Thank you for your love. Rest In Peace.
So saddened for your loss! I will forever hold many fond memories of coming to your home and seeing your mom! She made everyone feel welcome and loved! Even my dog would run away to see her! Cherish the memories of this angel on earth who is now flying high in heaven!❤️
