Very sorry to hear of Arline’s death. She was one of my mom’s lifelong friends, friends that my mom cherished her whole life. Arline was so kind and fun, and I always admired how fashionable she always looked. She had a very warm manner, with great humor behind it. She was the perfect matriarch of her large family as well.
My family was very lucky that we grew up knowing the Hoffman family and being able to see them all on various occasions throughout the years. We are praying for them, and for Arline especially.
Our hearts go out to the Hoffman family. Arline was like another aunt to the Brown children growing up. So many stories of Arline and Ralph, Aunt Jeanene and Uncle Harry, and Marilyn and Dick. I always loved her sense of humor, her love of family, and the way she could could my dad down when he needed it! And so gorgeous and put together at all times. Thinking of you.
