Hirth, Faith “Mimi” (nee Kelly)
Faith Ann Cecelia Hirth of St. Louis Mo was born on April 30, 1952 and was embraced by Jesus suddenly but peacefully on August 22, 2020 with her family by her side. She was a beloved wife to her longtime friend and love of 44 years, Charles E. Hirth, Jr. She was a loving mother to her children, Charles E. Hirth III (Josephine) and Nicole Davis (Gary) and a beloved, doting and amazing grandmother to her three grandchildren, Isabella Hirth, Charles E. Hirth IV and Olivia Davis. She also was the dearest sister to Vickie Schneider, a dear aunt to Rob Schneider (Jennifer) and Jill Lafferty (Don), and dear cousin to Scott Garcia (Lori) and Danny Garcia. She was preceded in death by Bill and Dorothy Kelly.
Faith’s greatest love besides her husband was her grandchildren. She adored her grandchildren and loved them from the depths of her soul. They were her whole world and she loved them wholeheartedly. She was the most incredible Mimi, in which her role model and mentor was her late mother-in-law, Marlene Hoemann. Faith’s grandchildren idolized her and always looked forward to being with their Mimi. They will always have incredible memories and she will never be forgotten by them. Additionally, Faith was constantly the lady that helped everyone and never asked for it in return. She was that friend that everyone would go to for advice and was always level headed. She brought a light so great to the world that even now that she is gone the light remains, her memory will live on in her children and grandchildren and she will always be our guardian angel.
The funeral mass will take place at 10 am on September 5th, 2020 at Queen of all Saints Church in Oakville. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a contribution to St. Vincent De Paul be made (svdpstlouis.org).
Due to Covid restrictions, attendance is limited to family and close friends.

I’m so sorry to hear of Faith’s passing. I spoke to her often during our 15 yrs working relationship. She was always very kind and friendly. We spoke often of our grandchildren and children. Both brought her a lot of joy. I will truly miss hearing her voice. My sympathies and may she rest in peace.

Faith was, simply put, unforgettable. She was known, and liked, by everyone at Mehlville Senior High. Faith would brighten up a room simply by her presence. Her smile would warm where ever she was. Her love of, and marriage to, Chuck was one of the most wonderful things to come out of that school. My condolences to her children and grand-children. She will be missed by all. Chuck, know that we all share your loss. Have strength, old friend, time does make it easier.
I have not seen Faith for a few years but every time I think back to our days at MHS
she comes to my mind. She was always a bright spot to everyone. May God Bless you and your family.

I adored Faith An since I was a little girl. I always looked up to Faith and found her smile, her laughter and her genuine sweet soul to be warm and inviting. I have wonderful memories of our time together spent at my grandparents lake house. I always felt you were more like a big sister to me and gave me sage advise. I will miss your laughter and your sweet, sweet smile.
My heart is heavy. I cannot imagine how hard her loss is on the family. I am so sorry. No words will suffice.
Many people will have an empty space in their lives. Faith had her special way of making sure others would soar. I will especially miss her sparkling eyes and the way they would brim with tears when she laughed. My sister-friend, Faith Ann, save me a seat near you.
Faith was a very special person that will be missed by all who knew her. My heart goes out to Chuck and the family. I have great memories of our times together. She was a joy to be around.

With the heaviest of hearts, I’m still in shock, I believe we all are. I still can’t find all the words that should be on the tip of my tongue.
Thank you for your unconditional love and acceptance. You were always my favorite and even with the many miles that separated us in later life, our connection was like no other. I for one, am looking forward to when our souls meet again.

Judy and I send our sincere condolences. My late wife Chris lived with Faith and family for a year during high school, and I came to know Faith’s sweet and generous nature during that time. We will be praying for your family after this unimaginable loss, just as Faith prayed for ours this year, after learning of our son Tom’s stroke and long recovery. God bless you and keep you.
