Deborah Ann Hamilton, née McAllister, 63, died July 12, 2022. She was a loving “number one” daughter, “favorite” sister, wife, mother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her mother Rose Mary Fitzgerald and sister Ruth McAllister. She is survived by her parents Ivan and Anita McAllister, her son Brian (Whitney) Kaul, her daughter Rachel (Teri) Miles, her husband Dave Hamilton and stepdaughter Natalie Hamilton, her brother Paul McAllister, her sisters Patricia (Johnny) Powell and Diana (Rodney) Towery, her stepbrothers Ronnie (Robin) Garriga and Donnie Garriga, and her grandchildren Immanuel, Jude, and Eliza Miles.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday July 16 at Southgate Church in Crestwood, MO at 5:00 PM, preceded by visitation from 2:00–5:00 PM. A private family burial will follow at a later date in Gulfport, Mississippi.
My heart is selfishly heavy, but aware that this precious saint is rejoicing in her long-awaited freedom. Comfort and sweet peace to her family. I know she was greatly loved and will be missed by many…..

She was such a true friend and Ray of hope, love and encouragement. We haven’t spent time together in years, but I still feel a deep love for her and sorrow over her passing from this world to the next. She was too young!

Debbie was my very best friend. She was there for me through thick and thin. She adopted us and set us in her family. I don’t know how we will go on without her. She showed me the kind of love I had never known before. She fed us, she invited to Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, birthdays, and she made me the best Strawberry Pretzel Salad cause she knew I loved it. She was a gift of God to us more times than I can name.

I loved Debbie so much and she was always so sweet to me. I am sad this happened. I will miss her so much.

Debbie was a true friend! Her heart was always open to people who needed encouragement. I’ll never forget the years we spent talking together and in Precept Bible study. It was so good staying connected through cards and texts and the occasional in person visit. She is in the presence of the Lord now! I’m thankful she was my friend.

Our hearts grieve with and for you all at this time. It was a privilege to have known her and see the love she exudes for her family. While knowing this loss is devastating, it is truly a comfort and joy to know she is free. We love you, Rachel, Teri and kiddos. We love you, Dave and Natalie.

Many of us in Charlotte, NC fondly remember Debbie and mourn her loss. Debbie was my neighbor on Carolyn Drive before she moved to St Louis.
I remember Debbie’s humbleness, her quiet service, her love for her exceptionally gifted children – she loved all children really and related to them with her gentle nature. I remember the last time she visited Charlotte with Rachel- maybe a decade ago. Still so youthful and full of pluck.
