It saddens me to hear of the passing of your father Mr. Leo Grillo. I had the pleasure to meet with him and his sweat wife, Mrs. Grillo, at several of Birthday gatherings and around town. Our conversations were great and I really enjoyed visiting with he and Mrs. Grillo. It was evident that he was a very proud Father and Grandfather who loved his family dearly. Most of all, his affection and respect for his wife was truly admirable. If we all could live such a long and wonderful life as Mr. Grillo, it would be by the grace of God. He was a great conversationalist and a remarkable gentleman. My sincere condolences to Mr. Grillo‘s family.
Mr. Grillo was a loyal and proud business owner in Florissant. We had a great relationship going back to the 1980’s and I last saw him when he paid me a courtesy visit to the Mayors office during my tenure. I was fortunate that he was my friend.
