Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., on Thursday, April 29, 9:30 a.m. to Assumption Catholic Church (Mattis Rd.) for 10 a.m. memorial mass. Interment Park Lawn cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Assn. greatly appreciated. Visitation, Wednesday 4-7 p.m.
Barbara was a wonderful mother-in-law and I loved her very much. And I promised her I would take care of Rick, Jack and Valerie so she could rest in peace. ♥️

Barbara was a joyful person, with a wonderful laugh and smile, and a dear cousin to us. As a “younger cousin”, I was in awe of her when she was in the service, and off to such adventures. She made us all feel loved.

What a dear sister she was. I am so fortunate to have been able to spend her last few weeks on earth with her. She was the first born of 13 children. She is forever in my heart.
Barb was a wonderful “Cumminskey Cousin”. I always enjoyed talking to her at family gatherings with such easy conversations. Prayers and condolences to all of Barb’s family, friends and loved ones.

It was just last summer of 2020.
I accompanied the Basler family to Pensacola Beach. Rick and Matt set up a tent for shade.
Barbara and I found we had a lot in common. We pretty much enjoyed each other all day and did a lot of laughing.
This is how she will be remembered in my heart.

I have known Barbara since my sister married her son, Rick, and I always thought she was a very nice lady! I’m sure she is looking down from heaven at all the condolences everyone has offered!!
