On Thursday, November 10, 2022. Beloved husband of Jeanne Ferner. Dear father of Bob (Lisa), Janet (Tim), Tom (Diana), and Joe (Alison). Loving grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and brother in law.

Retired as Vice President at Cupples Products after 30 years. Was an Eagle Scout, lifeguard at Boy Scout Camp and a Scouts Leader for three boys. Played soccer, baseball, golf and softball, then helped Coach his children’s sports teams. President and Vice President of SHF Fathers Club, and on the Maintenance Committee at SHF, heating the gym, supervising new windows in the school, painting classrooms, refinishing the stage, trying to stop the squeaks of the pews in church and many more projects.  Family maintenance man – putting in air conditioners, building decks, and many small projects. Loved fishing, hunting, vacations to almost all the 50 states, Canada and Mexico, and going to football, hockey games and watching the Cardinals baseball games on TV. Loved to go out to eat (loved his McDonalds).  Took good care of his mother, aunt, brother, father-in-law, and family, A good uncle, grandpa, great- grandpa, and a loving father, father-in-law, husband for 59 years and friend to many. Went to church daily for years after he retired until the virus hit the country, then watched it on TV almost daily. His loving heart finally gave out and he will be missed.

Visitation at Seven Holy Founders Catholic Church, 6741 Rock Hill Rd., St. Louis, MO 63123 on Wednesday, November 23 from 9am until funeral Mass at 10am.  Interment Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.   Donations preferred to SHF St. Vincent de Paul Society – 6741 S. Rock Hill Rd. – St. Louis, MO 63123
