Robert (Bob) Allen Fagyal, 73, of St. Louis County, Missouri, passed into the arms of Jesus on February 4, 2022. Bob was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 3, 1948, to the late Jeanne (Gagnon) Fagyal and the late Edward Fagyal, Sr.
Bob attended McCluer High School (’66) in Florissant, Missouri, and Missouri University, Columbia and received an undergraduate degree in economics. He was commissioned a Second Lt. in the U.S. Air Force and served at Davis-Monthan AFB from 1972-1975.
Bob married Pamela (Burns) Fagyal on July 22, 1972 and they celebrated 40 years of marriage before her death in 2013. Bob and Pam had 2 children, Paul Fagyal and Kimberly (Fagyal) Piant.
Bob worked at McDonnell-Douglas, EDS and A.T. Kearney for 26 years in various information technology and consulting roles. Bob was a compliance risk manager at Wells Fargo for 12 years and retired in 2014.
Bob was a member of Christ Covenant Church and Community Covenant Church where he served on the church council and in other roles. He also served as an Associate Teaching Director for 3 years at North County Community Bible Study. Bob participated in a rotation to lead Protestant worship services for the Villa at Riverwood, Hazelwood, MO for several years. Most recently, he was a member of White Flag Christian Church.
Bob is survived by his children and their spouses: Paul (Stephanie) Fagyal and Kimberly (Josh) Piant; his 3 grandchildren: Brooke Fagyal, Isaac Piant and Paige Piant; his brother, Edward (Peggy) Fagyal, his sister-in-law, Allyson (Gary) Ball, and many nieces and nephews.
Services:
The memorial service will be on Saturday, February 19th, at 11 am at White Flag Church at 7531 Telegraph Road, St. Louis, MO 63129. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to White Flag Christian Church, the Salvation Army or charity of your choice appreciated. A Kutis South County Chapel Service
So sad to hear. I worked for Bob at Wells Fargo for a year around 2012.
Bob drove about an hour to come to my wedding, and I had only known him a few months at that time. Glad he knew the Lord so I know one day I’ll see him again.

So sorry, Bob was a beautiful example of a follower of Jesus,,,, My husband left this world to be with Jesus in December and was so appreciative of the Godly example of friendship, devotion love of family and Bob’s ministries when David was pastor in our church in Florissant,,,,Bob is now rejoicing in the presence of Jesus and those who have gone on before.

Very sorry to hear of your loss. He was a great guy! I knew him for about 7-8 years while attending and serving on the worship team at Community Covenant Church. Quiet, humble and always with a kind word and smile, he will be greatly missed! Thoughts and prayers for all the family.
My late husband, John, & I were neighbors w Pam & Bob for 25 years. The last time I saw Bob we road-tripped to Ste Genevieve to meet some former neighbors for lunch. We all had a fun day walking around in the cold & getting caught up w each other. He was such a kind man & it was always obvious that he had a strong Christian faith. He is surely w his precious Pam in Christ’s loving arms.
Bob was a kind, sensitive, & generous person. He loved Jesus, his wife Pam, and his children and grandchildren.
We had a pleasure of having brunch wit him on November 11, 2019 with Greg and Kitty.
I can hear Bob and Pam rejoicing with Jesus as they are reunited.

I met Bob and Pam a few times when they attended shows at the Terry M. Fischer Theatre at St. Louis Community College in support of Bryant “T” Williamson, their neighbor at the time. They were the nicest people. After the show I was treated to Pam’s amazing lasagna, which Bob and I talked about several times after she passed. I am sorry for his passing but I know how much he loved Pam and how devoted they were to each other, so I am sure they are enjoying a perfect lasagna at the Lord’s table together. I consider it a blessing to have known them both.
Dear Paul and Kim, I’m so sorry to hear about your dad. I went to high school with your dad and mom. Actually met your dad in 1964 and have known him ever since. We were very close in high school and college and end of the ’70s. I was best man for him at your mom and dad’s wedding. You may not remember but my wife and I attended their 40th anniversary party. While the years came to separate us by distance we’ve always been close. We stayed in touch by phone email and ultimately Facebook. My wife and I send our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences. We will be making a donation in his name to a local charity we support here in Colorado. God bless you both.
Words are not enough to express my deep heartfelt condolences to the Fagyal family. I have learned about the homing going of Bob while in Africa. Bod was a true soldier of Christ, he came to encourage me when I was very low and taught me to learn how to wait upon the Lord. May the Receive him in eternal glory.

Bob was a very dear friend meeting him and Pam in 1978, sharing our journey growing together in Jesus at Christ Covenant Church in Florissant, Mo. until Pam’s passing when he then moved closer to his children and grandchildren and joining Community Covenant Church in Kirkwood, Mo. We kept in touch through our monthly men’s dinner from both churches until 2020. Bob was a true friend, brother in Christ, and spiritual mentor. His kindness, loving and gentile spirit along with his wisdom and knowledge, gave us a glimpse of God’s love and grace, and a window into the eternal life with Our Lord Jesus and those we have known and loved during our journey through life. I’m sorry for your loss. Bob was a friend I could trust, a person of integrity, and a devoted follower of Christ. I highly respected him and his wisdom. He served Community Covenant in many ways, not least as a teacher. He taught my kids and I appreciated teaching youth alongside him.
