Eckerle, Larry J. passed on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. Beloved husband of 40 years to the late Diane M. Eckerle; dear father of Jeffrey T. (Cathy) Eckerle; son of the late Myron J. and Janice M. Calhoun; grandfather of Ansley, Easton, and Norah; brother of Craig Eckerle; dear uncle of Brittany Wessel and friend to many. Memorials may be made to the David M. Sindelar Cancer Center (through Mercy South).
Services: Visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church (Imperial), on Mon. Feb. 21, 9 a.m. until funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment Shepherd Hills Cemetery. Service of Kutis South County Chapel.
I had the absolute honor of caring for Larry. His wit, intelligence, and fighting spirit was amazing. I enjoyed our chats so much. He will be sorely missed. Rest In Peace sir.

I was so sorry to hear about your dad. I had reached out to him recently and he had not responded as he usually does. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire family.
So sorry to hear of Larry’s passing. I worked with Larry for years and he attended our bon fire weekends. A lot of conversations, laughter and meals. Many memories!

I met Larry in 1982 as he was friends with my friend Dan Toolen. We became friends and spend many wonderful weekends camping with our mutual friend Dave Gosch. My condolences to the entire family
