Services; Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) Tuesday, April 21, from 5:00 to 7:30 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Alzheimers Association appreciated. Private burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
Sorry to hear of George’s passing. I think I first met George at a card show at St. Thomas Aquinas. Years later when I began setting up at shows George and I became friends. I always enjoyed seeing, talking to, and dealing with George. My prayers are with you and your family.
George and I knew each other for many years. It was a joy knowing him as a friend. Best wishes and prayers to his family. He truly his family.

George was a great guy I knew for many years. We shared a love of sports, especially baseball, and it was always enjoyable to get together with him and talk about the Cardinals. He had a great sense of humor and was fun to be around. I will miss seeing him and send my condolences to Brian and the rest of his family.
So sorry to hear. My condolences to the family and especially Brian. George was great to deal with and fun to kid around with. He always treated me fair at all the shows. The shows never were the same when George couldn’t setup anymore. So sad. Rest in Peace.
I’ve been a fellow vendor of George’s for roughly 18 years, and I’m glad to say when my wives and I had spent four years trying to get pregnant with little luck, he was INSTRUMENTAL in encouraging us to keep trying! Our baby girl is six months old now, and we’re loving parenting so much we’re already trying for more kids. George was always optimistic and encouraging of us, and this is what he told me that I still consider some of the BEST advice I’ve ever gotten: “Know when you have kids some of them are bound to draw a short straw, so that is the cycle of life, and if you raise them right to spread love, the world will still be better off for having had them in it.” Our world is better off for having had George Dye in it. Our sincerest condolences, prayers, and love!
I’m very sad and sorry to hear about the loss of George. I miss seeing him and Brian and the card shows in St Louis. It was always fun to talk to George and hear him get “riled-up” about baseball. My sincere sympathy to Brian and his family. Patrick
