Willis was a St. Louis Metropolitan Police Officer and a Medal of Valor Recipient. He was a Veteran of the United States Army.
Service Wednesday, March 24, 11:00 a.m. at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Backstoppers, Inc. Visitation Tuesday 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

I worked with Willis in the Mobile Reserve and TACT Unit. Great guy and great officer. One of the funniest guys I knew. My sympathy to his wife and kids.

Willie was an awesome part of my extended family and one of the influences on me getting into law enforcement. I always loved talking shop when I got a chance to visit, especially hearing his crazy stories. I’ll miss you. My love and prayers to Bonnie and the family.
I had the pleasure of working with Willis when he and I were assigned to the Third Police District. Although we never rode together, we were on the same shift so I spoke with him often. Willis could always make you smile or laugh, and he was always there if you needed assistance on a call. Great memories. Blessings to Willis and the Crook family.
