Loving wife of John Crawford; loving mother of Lucy, Tiffany and Kimberly; loving grandmother of Benjamin; dear sister of Donna, Marsha, Judy, Debbie and Joe. Our dear aunt, cousin and friend to many. John says she is still the prettiest girl on the planet.
Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry, on Friday, June 25, 11 a.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Society appreciated. Visitation Wednesday and Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
Janis, you will truly be missed. I have no words to say how heartbroken I am. My love to John, your daughters, and Ben.
I worked with Janis at St. Louis EMS. When we came into headquarters, she was always a bright spot to the day. May her family find comfort and peace.
My mom, you were a beautiful person. Your Peace that you gave me was special. I know your in Heaven with Grandma and Grandpa. What a great father’s day present. I Love you and know you are looking down on us. Rest in Peace.
I first met you in our Oakbridge Small Group. With a big smile you introduced yourself as Janis with an S! That always stayed with me. You had the biggest and best everything, personality, smile, humor and laugh. I can still hear your laugh. You loved your family so much and always spoke of them. Your face would light up as you spoke of your husband, girls, Ben and Sammy your dog. My prayer is for your family during this difficult time and that their wonderful memories with you will bring them comfort. I’ll see you there one day Janis with an S!

Janis, I miss my bestie…no funny jokes over the phone, no more laughter, your laugh would make me just burst. Thinking about you, your birthday was 11/7…God I miss my sister, you were a fun person to work with for 8 years. We had so much fun, I still have my dog Junior, he will be 11 years old next year. Thank you for helping me get Junior. Thank you answering the phone in the hospital and I had time to talk to you one last time. You put up a great fight! When I get to heaven, I cannot wait to see my dear friend Janis with a S! Love Ya!
