Coleman, James Clarence “Jim” (9/15/53 – 5/18/21)
Beloved son of Dorothy and the late John L. Coleman. Dear father of Amy (David) Willman and Crystal (Derek) Forgach. Loving grandfather of Matthew and Abigail Willman. Brother of Joe (Mary) Coleman, Jack (Angie) Coleman, Jeff (Nanette) Coleman and Jerry (Maureen) Coleman. Dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Passed away at age 67 on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 after a short battle with cancer.
Jim was a 1971 graduate of Affton High School and attended St. Louis Community College at Meramec. He worked for Crane National Vendors from February 1974 until his retirement in November 2009. He was an active member of St. John Paul II parish and dedicated the past several years to caring for his mother, Dorothy. He was also an avid sports fan, with basketball being his favorite.
Visitation Sunday, May 23 at Kutis Affton 1-6 pm. Funeral service begins Monday, May 24 at 9 am at Kutis Affton with prayers and eulogies. Funeral Mass to follow at St. John Paul II Catholic Church at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Vincent De Paul.
I was very shocked to hear about Jim! Will miss having him as my neighbor! My prayers and thoughts are for all of the Coleman family!

Rest In Peace Dear Cousin. Jim made a point every time I saw him to warmly greet each person he saw. He always had a kind word and a smile. He made a point to ask about you and find something to laugh about. Such a kind, gentle nature.
