Funeral from Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois Friday September 23, 10:30 am to St. John Paul II Church for 11:00 am Mass. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Member of the Knights of Columbus. Masses or contributions to the American Cancer Society appreciated. Visitation Thursday September 22, 5-9 pm.
Oh John, we are so sorry to hear this. You were so very good to your Dad and we know you will miss him. Our love and prayers are with you and your family.

The Knights of Columbus Assembly 565 sends our sincere condolences. John was a beloved member of our Assembly since 2003 and a Knight since 1975. His acts of charity benefited so many in the community. Every Knight of Columbus is entrusted to the care of Mary, the Mother of God. We carry the Rosary as the sign of our dedication to her and to her Son. Confident in her motherly love for us all, we entrust the soul of our Brother Knight to her, so that she may present him to her Son.
John, we have wonderful memories of your father. He was very special to our family and had a special bond with his brother – my dad – that carried on to our family.
Every once in a while, God blesses us with a very special person, and our lives are changed forever. Please know that our prayers go out to you and your family. We share your sadness as you say goodbye to your loving father.

I am so sorry to hear of your dad’s death. The stories you told me he sounded like an interesting guy. I know the strange feeling of being an orphan with the death of one’s parents. No matter what your age, the reality that you are now a member of the old generation in your family makes you feel alone.
