Beloved wife of the late Harold Boekenheide; loving mother of Linda (the late Robert) Gronemeyer and the late Edward Boekenheide; our dearest aunt, great aunt, great- great aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Services: A memorial service will be held at St. Lucas UCC at a later date with details to follow. Interment was held in private. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Lucas UCC appreciated. A service of KUTIS AFFTON Chapel.

I will miss our visits and phone calls immensely. Jewell was a lovely lady whom I loved and admired greatly. Rest in Peace, dear Jewell.
Please accept our family’s heartfelt condolences on your loss. Will always have fond memories of family gatherings in Odessa which Jewell so obviously enjoyed.
I have many good memories of mom and aunt Jewel laughing and telling stories about growing up. She was a wonderful person who had a strong faith which helped her through some difficult times. On behalf of our family our sincere condolences.
Jewel was like a mother to me and she was my best friend with Alice. My grandmother Wicky Bloome and her had lots of memories with Alice Greenwood. She will forever be in my heart and will forever be missed by my whole family. I have pictures of her and Alice as will save them forever. I am so very sorry and can’t believe no one at St Lucas UCC church told me as very disappointed with that church. I saw this myself. I know your mother loved you a lot and she was happy adopting you. You will always be in my heart too.
