   Hey Grandpa just wanted to say you I love you I love you soooooo much!!! And even though you could be so hard headed sometimes and wouldn’t always say I love you back I know you did!!! You were the best Grandpa in the world. I always thought you would out live us all working 9-5 everyday come home drink a beer or two and do it all over again!!! I wish you would have gotten the chance to retire and just enjoy life I tried to get you too for years … But that just wasn’t you you loved to work and always said ” Oh Dust this is the last year” or ” next year I’m retiring “. But retired or not you lived a long love filled wonderful life!!! Grandpa you absolutely made me a better man living with you and dad these past 5 years watching you get up and go to work every day healthy, sick, fresh out the hospital day after surgery, no matter what you put your work boots on and went!!!! Words can’t explain how much I appreciate you, love you, or how much I am going to miss you!!! You were a very awesome grandpa thank you for all the fun fishing memories!!!

   Dear Jim, you will truly be missed. You were my dad’s best friend and like a second father too me. I just want to say thank you for everything you did for us love you! Hope you and my old man are having drinks right now! Rest in peace my friend. Until we meet again

   I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since I’ve seen you Uncle Jiggs. It was at (moms (your sis’s) funeral) and today you will be spending her birthday with her. How strange it is that your Funeral service would be held on the same day as her birthday, but what better way to celebrate your new life and her birthday than to be with her and your mom, dad, uncle, and other family members that have gone on before you. 🙂 I will never forget all the memories of our Arkansas trips/visits and when you would come out to our house on the hill in DeSoto. I’ll never forget those stiff hugs from you LOL I would run up and wrap my arms around you and tell you that I love you, your body would be so stiff and you would occasionally lift one arm and pat me on the shoulder and say mmhmm or you too and many times say nothing Lol but I always knew that you were hugging me back and that you loved me. That was just you and your way but you could never fool me I knew you were a softy inside even if you didn’t show it 🙂 I have to say that you were one of the hardest working men I’ve ever known in my whole life! No matter how sick or in pain or anything you always went to work! Not too many men would be working till they were in their 80’s but you loved what you did and you loved to work! You were a one of a kind Man and the rock of the family! I am going to miss you very much!
