Bachmann, Melvin Henry Thursday, December 10, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Juanita M. Bachmann (nee: Rapp); beloved father of Nancy (Donald) Duncan, Mark (Wendy) Bachmann and Lynne (Mark) Hilderbrand; dear grandpa of Bonnie, Melanie, Stephanie, Elisa and Ashlyn; beloved great grandpa of Ben and Gus; dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. Melvin proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was an avid bowler, golfer, guitar player and singer. His professional career was a brewer at Griesedieck, Falstaff, and retired from Anheuser-Busch brewery in 1988.
Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Tuesday, December 15, 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to http://barcstl.org/ appreciated.

We admired and love Mr. Bachmann, he was always kind and considerate. He was always smiling, willing to help others. His delicate acts showed his constant love and care for his children. He truly belonged to the Great Generation fighting for the USA during WWII.
