Atkins (nee McCarty); Loving father of Justin (Emyli) Stephen, Brianna Atkins and Anthony Atkins: cherished Pop Pop of Daniel, Melody, Johnathan, Briella and coming soon baby Harrison “Harry”; dear son of Frenchette and the late Richard Atkins; cherished brother of Stewart (Donna) Orr, Melissa (Terry) Wright, Michael (Jannell) Atkins and bonus brother “B Dogg”; favorite son-in-law of Donna and the late Harry McCarty; brother-in-law of James (Heather) McCarty. Our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.
A Gathering of family and Friends will be at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. on Saturday, September 25, from 12 Noon until time of memorial service 2 p.m. with all services concluding at Kutis.
My uncle Brian was a true one of a kind person. Always made you feel loved and welcome. He was the light of every family get together. He was so loved by family and friends. Any person that ever had an interaction with him automatically loved him. I am lucky to say he was my family. I love you Uncle Brian and I will miss you. Rest in paradise!!

Well, sweetie, I wish you hadn’t gone the way you did , but I always love you and miss you. At least you are with Stacy and David and mom and dad, so I know your will be taken care of and in good company. Continue to joke around , dance, bring joy for the love ones you are with now. You were my favorite nephew, always there for me and helped me through a lot of bad times. It’s really hard to say goodbye to someone you love , I just can’t seem to do that, so hopefully in God and families care till I see you again.

The Lemolinas from my generation we re a last of their kind. When one passes on it feels like a piece of me passes with them. You always made sure everyone had a great time or made sure they were out in their place for acting a fool or were the dude in the room with the biggest heart you could ever imagine. You and Dana together is like the ultimate couple from our peoples! The world has dimmed since you left it but I know the heavens are glowing and dancing and you are rallying them up to help us all still here! I love you my brother and I love you Dana my sister.
