Forever in my heart…. You were true to yourself until the end.
Doc,
You will always be one of the “good ones.” You will be missed by many, but will never be forgotten. Thank you for all that you did for me, and my family.
Your legacy will live on with them, long after I am gone.
You always searched for Real, I pray you have found it.
My Cousin, my life long friend. God keep you safe.
Even though we didn’t know each other very long, I knew you well, Bob. The time we spent together had meaning and you always spoke the truth. We were a good team and worked well together, friend.
“Every social need, such as the need for friendship, must be a party to its own satisfaction: I cannot passively find my friend as a ready-made friend; a ready-made human being he may be, but his friendship for me I must help to create by my own active resolve.”
William Ernest Hocking
Best friends for over seventy-five years…sharing so much of ourselves, our lives, the wonder, challenges and the excitement of the respective lives we’ve lived. You’ve always remained my trusted child hood friend and I know I was the same for you. So many wonderful memories over the years and the special place you as friend have always had in my heart…in my life. And with all your accomplishments and your life-long success in reaching out to people in need…you’ve been special to so many others too. I know three things…you’re now at peace with God…I will miss you…..and I’ll remember you always!
