Karen Mary Altnether (nee Klausner) on July 19, 2022, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church. Loving wife of Paul; loving mother of Paul III and Joseph. Karen was active at Assumption Parish for 45 years. Memorial visitation at Assumption Catholic Church, Mattis Road on Thursday July, 28 from 10:00 AM until Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment at Assumption Cemetery. Luncheon following the services. Donations to American Cancer Society appreciated. A Kutis South County Chapel service.

Karen had so much love for her family. Family was so important to her. Karen had a gift of compassion, from helping us in our yard and throwing treats out to our pets, to having nice conversations while sitting on your deck. She always made us feel loved. She was caring, graceful, God-filled and trustworthy. She was a friend who will be greatly missed. We love you Karen!!❤️

Paul, tears came to my eyes when I read the sad news of Karen’s passing. She was such a beautiful example of joy in suffering. I never saw Karen without a smile on her face, no matter what she was going through. I look to Karen now as I embark on my own journey. Karen was a Casimir classmate, since 5th grade, 1960, …62 years ago! All through grade school and at Rosary High School, she was a special woman. A classmate, a soulmate, and a very dear friend. I shall miss her so.
