Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON Chapel 10151 Gravois Wednesday March 31, 9:15 AM to St Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church for 10:00 AM mass. Entombment Resurrection Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorials to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or American Cancer Society appreciated. Visitation Tuesday 3:00-8:00 PM.
Our husbands were friends at St. Louis U before we met. Sheila and Harold invited us for dinner (we were newlyweds on vacation) in 1959. My mother and Sheila’s mother worked at Lipic Pen Co. When our daughter deveoped Hodgkins disease, Sheila phoned me and shared her family’s experience with the disease. A few years ago, we met again at a DeSmet basketball game (both Jacobs grandsons were on the team). Whenever we met I recognized her smile in her voice. She leaves many happy memories. Condolences especially to Harold and all the family.
