Willenburg, Joyce Annette(nee Malloy), 87 of St. Louis passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Joyce was born in Detroit, Michigan September 13, 1934, the daughter of Elma Niland Malloy and James Malloy. She is survived by a daughter Ann (David) Bayne of St. Louis, nieces Sharon Mattingly and Maureen Cieslak both of St. Louis, and nephew Thomas McAlone Jr. of Palmetto, Florida. She also leaves behind many beloved great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles Willenburg, brothers Reed (former wife Clella) Malloy and James (Camille) Malloy, and sister Marilyn (Thomas Sr.) McAlone.
A memorial service will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 4550 Telegraph Rd, 63129 on Saturday, August 13 at 11:00 a.m. A gathering to celebrate her life will follow. KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY SERVICE.
My deepest sympathy to you and all the Malloy family. I meet Joyce in 1963 and we became best friends for all these years. Joyce was the kindest, and devoted friend anyone could have. My memories of our friendship still makes me smile thinking about different events we shared. More important Joyce was this way too many people who were lucky enough her.

I am so very sorry that you Mother has passed on. She did so many selfless things with her life, and I have know Joyce since the mid 90’s.
I remember when she created Claremarce, a Care Facility for those with Cancer, providing a Care Facility to give Caretakers a day off for recuperation. A very kind and loving gesture. She would even have the ‘patient’ picked up and Claremarce would feed them, and love them. She lovingly turned it over to Hope Lodge of the American Cancer Society on Lindell, and Claremarce donated the funding for a Claremarce Day Room in the building where patients and family could relax while undergoing Cancer Treatment. Joyce’s giving never ceased, then doing Hospice.
I too know that God’s Love always has met and always will meet every human need, so I know that you and David needs will be met.
I also know that your Mom has gone to prepare a place for you all, and may God let his light shine down upon you and bring you Peace and Grace.
