Mom was a loving, caring, giving, selfless soul. She and dad made sure Jim and I had everything we needed. Mom and Dad made great sacrifices to put us through catholic schools. Mom kept the house immaculate and kept us 3 men fed with home cooked meals every day of our life. On top of all that, she went to work at a pharmacy so Jim and I could get the education we needed to be whatever we wanted to be.
Mom practiced what she preached. She always kept a close eye on us, making sure we never drifted off the right path.
Mom and Dad made the family laugh every day. Mom would make dad laugh and Dad would make mom laugh. It would go back and forth for the longest time and then we would join in. This was nearly every day. They brought us up in environment of happiness and respect for others. This lifestyle has spread throughout the whole family. We love to tease each other and laugh, knowing none of us take it seriously. We would laugh until we could hardly breath.
We know mom is in heaven with the rest of our family members who have passed over.
We will miss mom tremendously. Please feel free to share any stories about mom. We would love to hear them. The family is in a lot of pain. She was so loved beyond belief. See you soon mom!!!
Will miss our sweet Aunt Rosie. Beautiful tribute Tom. So true! Kind, sweet, funny…did everything right. Love and prayers! Mitzi
Uncle Don, Tom, and Jim,
My very sincerest condolences.
This world is a less happy, less fun place without the Aunt Rose. I am so sorry for your loss and I understand the pain your family is in at this moment. I share your sadness and loss because I loved my Aunt Rose as well. At the same time I am happy that my mom has one of her best friends with her again. I know there is more laughter in heaven right now and much more love and friendship.
My memories of Aunt Rose are always surrounded by love and happiness. I will celebrate her life by emulating her joy and laughter and shed a tear for our loss.
Our deepest condolences to the entire Winkler family. May you find yourselves surrounded with the support of many loved ones to give you strength to celebrate Rosemary’s life. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
My deepest sympathy and love for for rose. I have fond memories of her from our childhood days
I am sad to learn of the passing of Rose Winkler. I have nothing but fond memories of Mr. and Mrs Winkler stemming from my youth. Mrs. Winkler was always happy and giving to all. These traits were carried out admirably in the lives of her two sons, Jim and Tom. I am very grateful to have known Mrs. Winkler and quite sure she is surrounded by eternal joy and laugher with our lord in heaven. Please see hi to “winky” for me as well Mrs. Winkler!
