Uncle Ed filled my heart with memories and laughter of family holidays, dining at Bartolino’s and Roberto’s, cardinal chats (baseball and football), curtain care and family stories. I will miss you. Karen Hofmann Giesler
I have many fond memories with my Great- Uncle: playing in his basement as a kid, picking fresh tomatoes from his immaculate garden to have with lunch, dinner at Bartolino’s, and sitting at the house talking/watching baseball! He always loved to tell the story of Aunt Do taking me into the bathroom and how I loved to push the button and make the plastic move around the toilet seat at the restaurant! He would throw back his head and laugh each time! All these memories will live in my heart! Love you, Uncle Ed!
I find myself very fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet Uncle Ed. He was a kind man I met for the first time eating Italian food, and listening to him give the waiter a hard time. We talked for hours over baseball, and he shared all the stories of him standing outside of the ballpark as a kid asking for autographs. My condolences to the family, and our hearts are with you.
