Cherished daughter of the late Leo and Eleanor Wind; loving sister of Thelma (Asa) Moore and the late Marilyn Wind; dear aunt of Mary (Chuck) Landeros and Susan (Jeff) Kaplin; great-aunt of Eleanor, Charlie, Smith, Cauley, Alex, Asa, Amelia and Richard; great-great-aunt of Sara and Zoe and a treasured friend to many.
Visitation will be held at St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 7, from 10 a.m. until of Funeral Mass 11 a.m. with services concluding at Church. Interment private. In Lieu of flowers donations to the Missouri Botanical Garden would be appreciated.
Sharon was a lovely person and will be sorely missed by those who knew her.
Sharon was known to everyone as a kind and compassionate person and friend I cannot say how very much we are all going to miss her I am devastated to be doing this my dear friend I remember after we lost Maryland we became closer and closer I felt you and Marilyn made me a better person just by knowing you both as time went on Sharon and I thought of you as my little sister we would go to the red Hatters luncheons and have so much fun then go back to my house you and shots and Joan and I would have each of your favorite snacks and play Rummikub until dinner time airtime as soon as Sharon got home she would call me and say how about we go out for a hamburger and an ice cream sandwich instead of leftovers I would laugh and say okay whatever you want to do I never could say no to her then when we would go to Mass on Saturday night we would get all dressed up and after mask go to bartolino’s for a nice dinner if we went to Mass on Sunday morning we would go to the casino are to Kimmswick for lunch sometimes we would take a ride and get a sleigh ride for our tongues which stud for ice cream sundae it seemed like we always laughed after having ice cream I can’t imagine not driving up the driveway and tooting the horn to go somewhere even just for an ice cream love you be sure when you get to heaven you give Marilyn a big hug for me
