Vickie and Stanley and the rest of the family. You will always be in my heart and now and forever a. I will remember the happy time we had together and some of the bad ones too. I know that I have done wrong thing that I wish now that could take back and have done but that all I can says now. My deepest condolences to each of you. She was a joy to be around every day. She was an honest, authentic and caring person, with a bit of a foul mouth when passionate (which I loved about her). Though I have known her for quite a bit longer, I only recently was able to spend time with her on a daily basis at work. I looked forward to her humor, her smile, her hugs, and her advice. Cardinals baseball (Waino specifically ;)), decorating, hosting, and putting her heart in everything she did– she is inspiring.
She raved about Perryville, and a few of her favorite spots down there, and I had finally made plans to go. We chatted about the details just last week. And I still will go– now to honor her and celebrate life well-lived.
After knowing her more closely for these past 8 weeks, I can only imagine all the memories and funny things you shared with her in the many years of her life. Praying that those memories bring you comfort and put a smile on your face when you think of her. Remembering her laugh makes me smile, for sure. She will be missed!!

Stan I was so heartbroken to hear about Vickie. She was my friend for many years and loved all the talks we had together. We had a lot in common. Every time I hear Do You Believe by Cher I think of her. We loved that song and sang it together at the office one day. My deepest sympathies go out to your whole family. Condolences to Stan and Pam. I am thinking of you a lot. Losing Vickie leaves a huge hole in my life. My first memories of her is a cute, curly-headed little girl, toddling down Circleview and talking to everyone she saw. My last memory is sitting in her kitchen a couple weeks ago, still funny and youthful as when we were kids. I am very grateful for our lifelong friendship, all the laughs and the wise advice she gave me (even though sometimes it wasn’t what I wanted to hear.) Vickie Sue, I will miss you and love you always.
Stan, I am deeply sorry. From when we were kids, I can remember Vickie’s quick laugh, and her whole face laughed! Losing a sibling is a grief in its own category. Sending you best wishes for comfort in your memories.

Vickie and I chatted so much or texted about the trips to Perryville,her love of cooking,BBqing,Little Debbies and her collection of crockpots.
Many Friday evenings we’d catch up texting about the week.

I am just gutted by her passing and can’t believe I won’t get to hear her incredible laugh again. I was so lucky to have known Vickie for the last three years, and I always said to her that God truly blessed me with her friendship. Vickie had a way of caring for other people that lifted them up in joy and love, and she did that for me time and time again. And she was absolutely hilarious – I will so miss our joking around (particularly about going to get some margaritas!). Most of all, I will miss getting to see Aunt Vickie dote on her Gabe and it breaks my heart that he won’t get to grow up with her loving on him. But I promise you, Gabe will know about his Aunt Vickie, and what an incredibly kind, honest, loyal and warm person she was. I will miss her and her beautiful heart always. Dear Stan and Family,
I’m not sure whether you remember me or not, but I worked with Vicki for many years. She not only became one of my favorite staff, but one of my favorite friends.
She was without a doubt one of the hardest working and devoted members of the staff at Mid East. Her laughter was always a welcome part of her working day.
I just sorry that I didn’t get back to visit more often after I retired. She will be truly missed. May she rest in peace.
Today I just found out this very sad shocking news.
So sorry to hear and I know Vickie will be missed by many. My deepest condolences to the whole family. Sending you many prayers for comfort at this difficult time and I hope that the wonderful memories you shared with Vickie will bring you peace.
Such fond memories I have of her. I watched her grow over the years from a cute little curly headed toddler into a wonder amazing woman. Her adorable contagious smile and laugh were memorable. I admired her sweet cheerful disposition, kind nature, and her caring love for animals.
Although we lost touch over the years — she was always in my thoughts. What a great pleasure it was to have known such an amazing person.

I was shocked and greatly saddened when I heard of the passing of Vicky Welker. Vicky was a very upbeat person. She always had a smile for me when I came to the Meals On Wheels location in West St. Louis County to obtain meals for delivery. She took a genuine interest in me and my family as I shared the joys and sorrows of my children and grandchildren with Her. She was extremely happy for me when I shared with Her that I had met a wonderful Lady on a Senior’s dating website. . . One of the last things She & I spoke about was when She personally recommended the Affton Diner as a great place that She & Her Brother would frequent for Breakfast or Lunch. . . I know vickie for a vey long time. Want to says about 15 year or longer. I we worked togeither for a long time. I will miss her she was felt like a daughter. I was very close to her and family for years to come. She will always be remmber. May you rest in pece vickie.
