Ward, Doris Jean (nee Jones) on Thursday, August 8, 2019. Beloved wife of the late James B. Ward Jr.; loving mother of Kathy (Darren) Wisor; grandmother of Brendan Wisor. Doris was the 8th of 11 children of James and Edna Jones who both preceded her in death. She is survived by 6 of her siblings; Norma Evans, Glenda Good, Ann Isbell, Jim (Barb) Jones, Marilyn (Carlton) Hunt, and William (Maria) Jones, one sister-in-law Rita (William) Warren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four of her siblings; Wanda (Evans) Ryan, Carl Jones, Earl (Marie) Jones, and Bobby Jones. Doris was originally from Chaffee, MO and lived many years in both Chaffee and Arnold, MO. She graduated from Eaton Rapids High School in Eaton Rapids, Michigan in 1954. Doris was a member and a retired secretary of the Arnold Church of Christ.

Services: A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 16, at 10 a.m. at the KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Visitation Thursday, August 15, 4-8 p.m. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis, 11050 North Warson Rd. St. Louis, MO 63114.
