Robert Joseph (Bob) Vornberg, 39, beloved son, brother, uncle and dear friend, departed this life on January 4, 2023 after an illness. A native resident of St. Charles, MO, Bob was a graduate of the Academy of the Sacred Heart and Duchesne High School, and he earned an associate degree from ITT. Bob worked as a meat cutter at Shop & Save for over 10 years, and was employed with Client Services for several years before his illness.

Bob was a very creative and compassionate person, known for his sense of humor, thoughtful gifts and loyal friendship. He loved modern film, performed standup comedy,  played roller hockey, attended Blues games, and was a devoted fan of Pro Wrestling. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephew who adored their “Uncle Bobby.”

Bob was preceded in death by grandparents Ralph and Clara (Senf) Vornberg, Haskel and Mildred (Farmer) McMillon, and by brothers Nicholas and Nathaniel. He is survived by his parents Robert W and Brenda (McMillon) Vornberg, sister Katherine and her husband Brian Hess, nieces Madeleine and Kayla, nephew Brooks, and numerous relatives and friends.

Services: Kutis Funeral Home in Affton, Visitation Monday  January 9, 4-9pm; Funeral Tuesday January 10, at 10:30am, departing afterward for St. Paul Churchyard on Rock Hill Rd. Suggested Donation: Five Acres Animal Shelter in St. Charles
