Susan Mary Vonder Haar, a longtime Oakville resident and community volunteer, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 of pneumonia at the age of 62. A St. Louis native, Susan was born March 9, 1959, to Robert and Dolores (nee Schwer) Vonder Haar. After graduating from Omaha’s Creighton University in 1981, Sue returned to live in St. Louis and worked for MCI Communications before retiring due to medical issues. She was sister to Linda (Bill) Kile, Steve (Teresa) Vonder Haar and the late Lawrence (Paula Fulks) Vonder Haar. She was dear aunt to eight nieces and nephews: Jessica (Mike) Labozzetta (nee Vonder Haar), James Vonder Haar, Jon (Stephanie) Zebre, Stephanie Beal (nee Zebre), Emil Zebre, Robert Vonder Haar, Paul Vonder Haar and Christine Vonder Haar. Haar. She is also survived by three great-grandnieces, Zoe, Dryden and Isabella.

Services: Visitation at  KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., Fri. Oct. 22, 4-8 p.m., then taken to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque Catholic Church (4900 Ringer Rd.) on Sat. Oct. 23, for visitation at 9 a.m. until funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
