Velasco, Joseph “Joe” 64, passed Saturday, September 3, 2022 following a long and brave battle with ALS. He leaves his wife of 34 years, Debbie (Cobb) Velasco; son, Antonio Velasco; son, Michael Cobb; five grandchildren, Ethan, Elliot, Raeden, Bryleigh, Emerson; & numerous other family and friends.

At the age of 17 he proudly joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served with honor. A true Marine until the end, he never failed to
celebrate the Corps birthday as well as Veterans Day with his brothers. Joe loved his family and was known for his quick wit and
sharp sense of humor. He had a passion for music, cooking, football and being the world’s best paw paw.

Services: Kutis Funeral Home in South County. Visitation September 7th, from 4-7pm. Funeral Thursday September 8th, at 9:30am.
