I’m sorry for your loss, I served with Steve on the USS Ponchatoula, seen him at the ships
reunion in Kansas City, MO in 2018. Going to miss him.
Remembering our shipmate Steven Van Meter: He served his country faithfully as a Machinist Mate aboard USS Ponchatoula, AO-148 from September 1963 to September 1966. A true friend to many, and well-liked by all! He will be fondly remembered at our reunions.
